Born June 25, 1963 in the village of Zecevo Kirov region.
From 1980 to 1983 - study in aviation technical school of Civil aviation, then 4 years at the Gorky airport by aircraft.
At the age of 22 years had a desire to paint, he began to attend classes in the art Studio. The more familiar with the basics of drawing and painting, the clearer I understood the need of professional education. In 1987 he enrolled in the Yaroslavl art school, which he graduated from in 1991.
After graduation became interested in landscape painting. Parallel to the practical work constantly explored the legacy of the masters of the past, communicated with well-known contemporary artists. Over the years have become clearer to emerge a key basis of fine landscape plastics: condition, movement, space, light, air.
Perhaps, it is now clearly possible to formulate the fundamental tasks that the author tries to solve in his work: the naturalness and simplicity of the image, the integrity of perception and harmonic completeness of the picture, trying to touch the mystery and infinity of nature and the world.
Since 1994 began a fruitful collaboration of an artist with "Les Oreades"gallery.
In 1996, the gallery organized a personal exhibition of Sergey Zaitsev in Moscow in the Central House of the Artist.
In 1997 began working on a large landscape project "All of the Pyrenees", was held five journeys to Toulouse.
In 1999 a personal exhibition was held in Yaroslavl.
Currently Sergey Zaytsev lives and works in Yaroslavl. Constantly participates in exhibitions of the gallery "Les Oreades", Moscow and Toulouse.
Works are in private collections in Russia and abroad.
