Still Life with Cabbage.

The artist began to learn the art of painting in Lviv with S. Reihan and S. Batovsky. In 1919-1920 he continued at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow with Ignacy Pienkowski, and then with Ludwiga Mehoffer at the Free School of Painting and Drawing. Later he continued to improve his skills in the class of a prominent impressionist artist Max Liebermann in Berlin. He traveled extensively throughout Europe. Between 1939 and 1940 he stayed for some time in Moscow. From 1923 he participated in many exhibitions of the Society of Amateurs of Fine Arts in Lviv and Krakow, Warsaw and Poznan.
