Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Painter and artist of applied art. Studied at the Stroganov school (1912-1918), in VKhUTEMAS in A. A. Osmerkin. In 1928 – 1932 he worked in Paris, mainly in the field of industrial graphics and as an artist. Performed labels, promotional posters, logos, sketches, clothes and shoes, illustration to the tale by p. P. Yershov "the humpbacked Horse". After 1928 he worked as an Illustrator in the genre of landscape and still life. The artist's works were exhibited in Florence and Sofia. Solo exhibitions A. Koltsovo-Bychkova was held in Paris (1929) and Moscow (1940), her works are kept in the state Tretyakov gallery (Moscow), Pushkin Museum im. A. S. Pushkin (Moscow), in many regional museums of Russia.
