Eduard
Antonovich Steinberg

Russia • 1882−1935

A graduate of the Moscow school of painting, sculpture and architecture, an active participant in the cultural life of Kharkov in the pre-revolutionary decade working in the Crimea in 20 years. Since 1921 he lived in Sevastopol, which has created a lot of interesting paintings and graphic works that reflect the everyday life of our city, the Crimean landscapes, portraits. In 1929, E. A., Steinberg and his family moved to Rostov-on-don. His creative heritage has lain in the attic for several decades, was transferred in 1979 in Sevastopol art Museum, the artist's son, now has 599 pieces.
