Initially he studied painting with Haman in Alton, and then his resettlement in Danzig, took up painting. In 1707, he enrolled in the Berlin Academy. D. portraits, for which he took a very high cost, are distinguished by extreme care letters reaching pettiness and dryness, dullness and color irregularity of the image.
