Biography and information

Honored artist of the RSFSR. People's Artist Of Russia.

Known to Anatoly Titov came in 1965, when the first of the Soviet artists, he turned to the subject of Yesenin's poetry, having a solo exhibition called "In the homeland of Sergey Esenin". By that time, Titov – graduated from Ryazan Art School (1955) – has been accepted as a Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1964). The artist stayed true to himself in the future. His work is inextricably related to the Ryazan land, the life of Sergei Yesenin and the title of Honored artist of the RSFSR (1985) and people's Artist of Russia (1996) he received for a series of landscapes of his native land.

The work of Anatoly Titov stored in the Ryazan Art Museum, the State Museum-Reserve of S. A. Yesenin.
