Was born in Kurgan. In 1957 graduated from Sverdlovsk art College, in 1970, became a member of the Union of Artists. Stood at the origins of the Kurgan organization of Union of artists of Russia, was Chairman of the arts Council, Chairman of the Kurgan branch of the Union of artists of the RSFSR, member of the Zonal exhibition Committee.
The artist is well known in Russia as the great master of landscape and still life. His work since 1959 has been exhibited in over 80 exhibitions in Moscow, cities of the Urals and Siberia in Italy.
