Biography and information

Studied in Paris at the School of decorative art (1891-1894). From 1896 he lived permanently in Paris. At the world exhibition in Paris awarded the second gold medal of the 1900). Exhibited in galleries in Paris, Berlin, Liege. London. the author of the busts of Tolstoy, Pasteur, Beethoven, Turgenev and others In 1938 he became an officer of the Legion of honour. In 1934, 1935 and 1938 visited the Soviet Union. In 1940 he left occupied France via Portugal and moved to the United States. Died in new York.
