Biography and information

A native of Kherson region. Brother of the artist Amshey Nuremberg. He studied at the Odessa art school under K. Kostandi, since 1920 - in the higher art in the workshop of P. Konchalovsky. Made the journey to the Caucasus and Central Asia, where he worked on a series of landscapes. He was a member and Exhibitor AHRR (1922). Presented their works in 1932 at the exhibition "Artists of RSFSR for 15 years", often exhibited work in Kuzbass, Moscow and other cities. Was a member of artists Union since its establishment. In the 1930s, the master led a group of artists on a tour of the objects of socialist construction, where he created a series of thematic paintings. In the 1950s he painted portraits of Soviet leaders, genre works of a political nature. Worked on landscapes and still lifes.
