Abramovich Lipskerov

Lived and worked in Moscow. Studied painting in the Studio K. Juon. His works were published in 1910 as a poet. Part of the range of V. Bryusov. A member of lit. of the group of neoclassical, lit. about-ia "Lyrical circle." SB-ing of poems, "Sand and roses" (1916), "Golden palm" (1922), "the sixth Day" (1925), plays "Carmencita" (1923, P. mérimée), "mit'kin Kingdom" (1928), "Baba" (1928), "Nadezhda Durova" (1942, with A. Kochetkov). proizv. The author of lit.-critical articles, poetical translations from the East. yaz.

Made his debut in 1910 in the magazine "Dandy" under the pseudonym Konstantin ale. The first book of poems ("Sand and roses", 1916), in 1922 has released several books — collections of poems "the gold palm (1916-1921)" and "the sixth Day", a dramatic poem "Sea pea", the poem "Another: Moscow story". In 1927 Nemirovich-Danchenko puts written by Lipskerova "based on Merimee" drama "Carmencita". A year later, the premiere of the play "mit'kin Kingdom."

Since the late 1920-ies ceases to speak as a poet and completely switched to translation of poetry, mostly classical, Iranian, Armenian, Turkic poetry. He translated European poets, however most of the translations are still not published.

An excellent connoisseur of the East and master solid European poetic forms — the sonnet, the Rondeau, the Triolet, — Lipskerov continued to write poetry all his life, however, a complete edition of his heritage is still not taken.
