Biography and information

The son of a court painter: studied in Darmstadt. In 1832, the Academy of arts, the title of a free artist on the project "country house". In 1842, the title of academician; from 1854 Professor of Academy of fine arts. (Kondakov)

He studied in Dresden and Darmstadt. 1831 in St. Petersburg. Certified of arts (1832). Academician (1839), Professor (1854) architecture. The author of the album of projects of country houses (1833). Worked in the Department of military settlements (1848-1851), the Department of projects and estimates gups and PZ (from 1851), engineering Department (1857-1862). Member of the technical Committee of the SMI and a number of commissions. Architect Imp. yard (1858). Participated in the creation of ensembles in the estates of Mikhailovka and Znamenka St. Petersburg, the decoration of the interiors of the Grand Oranienbaum Palace. Built the intercession Church at the Trinity-Sergius desert (R. I. Kuzmin) and the Small Palace (White house) in Shuvalovsky Park. Author of building projects in Riga, Helsingfors, Perm, Moscow province. From 1864 in Dresden.
