An auditor student at the Academy of fine arts. In 1845 the title of class artist; in 1855 – the "designated"; in 1857 the title of academician. The Builder children's hospital of the Prince of Oldenburg in St. Petersburg.

Academician of architecture, rod. 7 Nov 1824 in St. Petersburg, the mind. 14 Jul 1883 in Peterhof. The son of the architect A. K. Kavos, he was brought up in the Peter and Paul school and at the Academy of Arts and test 13 Nov 1845, was recognized as the class artist; March 14, 1857 he was elevated to the rank of academician without execution of a special program, produced for their own projects built during the nine years of service in the corps of pages and Post office. He was an architect in the office of the St. Petersburg Council of children's shelters and the office of the Society for education of noble maidens. In addition to duty, he built on his own project, the cotton mill factory for the heirs Golenishchev in St. Petersburg, and the competition (1865-1870.), the building of children's hospital, named after Prince P. G. of Oldenburg, near the Greek Church, using for the first time the scientific requirements for convenience and elegance of the room. Several of his articles was printed in "the Week of the Builder"; in addition he was a member of the St. Petersburg city Council and a Director or a member in various joint-stock companies.
