Painter, graphic artist, Illustrator. In 1911, together with S. Dudin created a large series of illustrations for the Deluxe edition of the novel N. Gogol's “Evenings on a farm near Dikanka” by order of the St. Petersburg publisher A. devrien. In 1922 – 1923 with S. Dudin and N. Gerardwil illustrated books M. Krakowskiego "Native life" and "tales of old Govorukha about animals", published in Berlin by order of A. devrien.

The second cycle of illustrations for "Evenings on a farm near Dikanka" was created by artists together with Samuel Martynovich Dudin (1863-1929) for the famous St. Petersburg publisher Alfred Fedorovich devrien (1842 – after 1918).
In the Preface, opening Deluxe edition devrien, published in 1911, artists have kindly mentioned their predecessors, the Wanderers, and set out their own creative principles.
