Biography and information

He was born in Odessa. In 1874 he entered the Academy of fine arts volnoprihodyaschim student in the following year moved to academics. During the study received all the installed program of the Academy silver medal: in 1877 - small; 1878 - large; in 1879 - small; in 1880, a large one. In 1881 he received a small gold medal for the program "the Volcano attracts Prometheus to a rock of Caucasus, is washed by the waves, in the presence of Power and authority". In 1884, on the academic exhibition was exhibited a picture by I. K. Fedorova "the Empress Catherine II of M. V. Lomonosov", for which he in 1889 was awarded the title artist of the first degree in painting. His work ("the Model in the artist's Studio", "woman's head", "Cowgirl", "House Forester", "For lesson") was a success. The life of I. K. Fedorova with his large earnings were very modest - all it took the artist to the acquisition of paintings. Because the dream of the artist was the creation of a Museum in his name for viewing by the General public. Due to the premature death of the artist it was not implemented.
