Born in the village of Ardatovo Gorky region. During the period 1983-1988 he studied at the Palekh art school. Teacher - B. M. Nemtinov, K. S. Semeikin, V. I. Golov. In 1988-1989 worked at the Palekh art-production workshops. Themes of works: folklore, literature, genre scenes. Participant of exhibitions since 1989. Works by L. A. Korikovoy stored in trnde "the Art of Palekh".
