Born in the city of Vichuga in Ivanovo region. In the years 1959-1964 studied at the Palekh art school. Teacher - V. I. Astakhov, B. M. Nemtinov. Since 1964 he worked at the Palekh art-production workshops. Themes of works: folklore, literature, genre scenes. Participant of exhibitions since 1978. The work of G. V. Lyubimova stored in the State Museum of Palekh art.
