Biography and information
A member of the Union of professional painters of Russia under UNESCO from 1994. From 1981 to 1986, he studied at the Palekh art school. Teacher - V. V. Bolshakov. In 1986-1989 he worked at the Palekh art-production workshops. Since 1993 he has worked in the creative workshop "residents of Palekh". In 1998 he headed the Palekh branch of the Union of artists of Russia.
Was engaged in book illustration ("the Life of Jesus Christ" (1995)), icons. Themes of works: folklore, literature, religious. Participant of exhibitions since 1991. The work of V. S. Makashova stored in the State Museum of Palekh art.
