In 1946-1951, he attended the Palekh art school. Since 1951 he worked in the Association of Palekh artists (1954 - Palekh art-production workshops). He graduated from the Tallinn art Institute. Lives in Moscow.
Was engaged in monumental painting (frescoes in the Church of Peter and Paul in Karlovy vary (Czech Republic, 1983-1987), the Pochaiv monastery), writes icons (purchased by the churches of Argentina, India, Japan). Themes of works: folklore, literature, religious.
