First prof artist from the Bashkirs. One of the founders of Fig. art in Bashkortostan. Member of USSR Union of artists since 1937. In 1914 he graduated from the Center. hood.-prom. Uch-school of Baron Stieglitz in St. Petersburg (now Supreme hood.-prom. Uch-school them. V. I. Mukhina). In 1914-16 he taught at St. Petersburg. hood. Uch-school. In 1916-17 at St. Petersburg. Academy of fine arts. Since 1917 lived and worked in Ufa. Member Ofim. hood. mug (1917). From 1919 he taught at the art Studio at so.D. workshops, organiz. A. P. Linesim, Ufimsk. College of the arts (1930-35), to bash.-tat. PED. courses (1930-37). In 1928-35 made a number of exp. in the South-East. districts of Bashkortostan on the collection of ethnographic. material and specimens the bash. decorative-applied art collection of the Art Museum (HM) to them.M.In.Nesterov. In the result of trips around Baimaksky, Burzyansky R-us in 1933, created the landscape of "the Village Novo And" (b. gouache, AKV.), "Tubinskiy Rudnik" (b. AKV.), "General view of the Baimak plant" (b. AKV.). Worked mostly. watercolor technique. DOS. range of topics - everyday life of the Bashkirs: "Bashkir Porch of the house" (1928, b., AKV.), "Bashkir girl" (1928, b., AKV.), "Bashkir girl in blue" (1928, b., AKV.), "Bashkir Ibrahim" (1928, b., coal), "Bashkir hunter" (1928, b., AKV.). D. watercolors are lyrical in nature, enriched with NAT. color.
