Biography and information
Born in the village of Zelenyy Kurgan, Ulyanovsk region. Member of Union of artists of Russia since 1981. In the years 1964-1969 he studied at the Palekh art school. Teacher - V. I. Astakhov, A.V. Borunov, N. And.Golikov, N. M.Zinoviev, A. V. Kovalev. In 1969-1989, he worked at the Palekh art-production workshops.
Themes of works: folklore, genre scenes. Participated in exhibitions since 1973. A. O. Potanina are stored in museums: gmpi, Umgeni, Ivanovo OC, Phineas.
