Born in Palekh. Hereditary painter, son of V. M. and T. M. Chassis. In 1993-1998 he studied at the Palekh art school. Teacher - N.M.Smirnov, N. B.Fungi, T. M. Khodov. In 1998, he accepted monastic tonsure. Themes of works: folklore, religious. Participant of exhibitions since 1999.
