Biography and information

An auditor student at the Academy of fine arts Andrey Radkowski while training in it (1854-1859) showed steady and sustained progress. Received in 1855 a small, and in 1856 — a large silver medal. In 1857 A. Radkowski two "kind of place Bygrace near Vyborg" received a small gold medal and the title of class artist third degree.

The artist held two years attending classes at the Academy, so that in 1859, to obtain the title of class artist of the second degree. A. A. Radkowski and in subsequent years have consistently demonstrated the dedication of painting, hard work and growing skills. He tries himself in various genres of painting, achieving great success in working with watercolor. In 1868, for the painting "Cow with its calf in the forest" and "Field of rye" is awarded the title of class artist of the first degree, eventually received the title of academician. In 1885, for devotion to the fine arts A. A. Radkovskaya awarded the title of honorary member of the Academy of arts.
