Biography and information

He studied at the Academy of Arts from 1843 under A. T. Markov. Received medals: in 1846 - 2 silver and 2 gold for the painting "the Blind beggar with a boy". In 1847, he was sent abroad pensioner of the Kingdom of Poland and stayed there for 12 years, becoming a student of the Field delarosa; in the same year the title of class artist; in 1860, the title of academician.
