Laureate of the State prize of the USSR was Born in 1898 in Kiev.Studied in 1926-1930 in VKhUTEMAS (Vhuteine) in V. I. Mukhina, I. S. Efimova, I. M. Maikov. Participant of art exhibitions since 1924. Major works: "a Happy childhood" (1941), the song "we Demand peace" together with Vera Mukhina, 3. G. Ivanova, A. M. Sergeev, S. V. Kazakov (1950), a monument to Maxim Gorky in Moscow in collaboration with V. I. Mukhina, 3. G. Ivanova, project I. D. Shadr (1951), "Youth", a statue at the new building of Moscow state University (1952), portraits of V. I. Mukhina (1949-1967, MK RSFSR, Azerbaijan state Museum of arts. R. Mustafayev, Mykolaiv art Museum. V. V. Vereshchagin), "Fighter for the freedom of Vietnam A. Martin" (1961), "Gifts of water" on the sketch by V. I. Mukhina (1964, Central stadium. V. I.
