Biography and information

Academician (1847). B. in Moscow. He graduated from the Stroganov school (1835) and the Imperial Academy of arts (1839). Projects M. embodied in Livadia, Tsarskoe Selo, St. Petersburg, Moscow. He is the author of the reconstruction of the Palace (1869 - 1873) in the manor barjatinsky "Marino" Lgovskiy County Kursk province (the construction was supervised by architect K. F. Saltz). As a result, Maryinsky Palace was considerably altered its appearance, "the composition of the building acquired a more wholesome, decorating the walls became more complex and intense". He died and was buried in St. Petersburg.
