B. in Kursk into a family of merchants. Studied at the Studio M. N. Yakimenko-Zabuhy, then (1936 - 1939) P. K. Licina, A. M. Zubov, G. A. shuklina. Was friendly with the family of G. V. shuklina. Participated in exhibitions held in Kursk (1926 - 1940). P. fought on the fronts of the second world war, were awarded military orders. Died and was buried in D. Lenice gdańsk Voivodeship in Poland. The most significant works: "the Forest on the Vorskla river", "Suchlike", "After the rain", "little House in Valuyki". The artist's works are in the collections of the Kursk art gallery named after.
