Was born in Kiev. The first drawing lessons were taken in private school A. Kruger-prahovo. Art education has received in the Kiev art-industrial school (1925 – 1927) and KHI (1928 – 1931) in the Studio of F. Krichevsky. Now a portrait of the artist, written with a brush of a teacher is demonstrated in the exposition of the state Tretyakov gallery. In 1936 debuted at the exhibition "Art of Soviet Ukraine" in Kharkov. In the 1930s, together with Professor I. Mogilevskii, M. Makarenko, F. Ernst and V. G. Krichevsky spoke out in defense of Michael Golden domes monastery. As the daughter of the Riga Germans, similar to the environment of the Hetman Skoropadsky, in the 1930s, he was persecuted and was forced to leave Ukraine. In 1944, via Berlin and Dresden (where during the bombing destroyed much of her collection), carlsbad (Karlovy vary) and Pilsen (Plzen) caught in a camp for displaced persons in Ashaffenburg and Berchtesgaden. In 1951 – 1961 lived in new York, where he worked as a teacher of drawing and painting in T-ve arts in Queensboro (Queensboro Sosiety of Art). In exile was considered the best representative of Ukrainian school of impressionism. In the United States became a member of the Association of Ukrainian artists in America. Was a close friend of the historian N. Polonsky-Vasilenko, R. Repin (Ilya Repin's grandson), sculptor S. Lytvynenko, writer E. Ivano-Frankivsk. Fond of the culture and nature of Greece, where she lived and painted (1965 – 1966, 1975 – 1976, 1984 – 1985, 1987 – 1988). In 1961 he bought a house in the highlands Gunter (new York), where she lived the rest of his days. Buried bequest in Kiev. Participant in nearly 100 group and solo exhibitions. He worked in different genres and techniques. Pictures are stored in the National HM of Ukraine, Museum of history of Kiev, Poltava HMM, private collections and museums in the United States, Greece and Germany.
