Biography and information

He was born in Odessa. In 1915 he enrolled in the OHA, where in one year completed a five-year curriculum. In 1917 – 1921 studied at the Free art studios (K. T. Dvornikova and Kostandi). In 1927 he graduated from OHS (workshop of P. Volokidin). From 1921 he participated in the exhibitions of the teachers OHI, O-VA im. K. Kostandi, etc. During the great Patriotic war, the artist was in the occupied Odessa, for which he received 15 years imprisonment. After the conclusion returned to Odessa. In 1950 – 1960s has created a number of lovely still lifes and landscapes, which became a follower of the best traditions of southern Russian school of painting. His works are in the Tretyakov gallery, the Lugansk regional HMM. Lived and worked in Odessa.
