Semenovich Shulpinov (Shulpinov)

Born in Kazan (?) . Died in Tomsk (?). Chulpanov studied at the Kazan art school N. And.Feshin, then at the Moscow school of painting, sculpture and architecture. From the 1910 years he lived in the Altai. Participated in exhibitions in the Siberian city of Tomsk. The artist considered himself a representative of the so-called Siberian style of painting. In December 1924 - January 1925 in Moscow at the exhibition of paintings society of artists of the Moscow school was posthumously displayed 70 works of the artist. Creative legacy Chopinova largely lost.
