Love Afanasyeva was born in Leningrad. From 1946 to 1954 he studied at the Leningrad College of industrial arts. V. I. Mukhina at the Department of architectural and artistic ceramics. Artist painting on porcelain.
From 1954 to 1970 he worked as an artist at the Leningrad factory of porcelain products with GEEKS. From 1970 to 1990, he worked at the art laboratory of the Lomonosov porcelain factory. Since 1982 - member of the Union of artists of Russia. Participant of exhibitions in our country and abroad.
Work love Afanasyeva are in the collection of the State Hermitage, the Museum of ceramics "Manor Kuskovo XVIII century", Museum of Zagorsk State history Museum, and private collections. The author of the painted sets "Autumn" (1978), "In the garden" (1983), "Summer" (1983), "Evening" (1985), "Evening in the garden" (1986), "Golden ring" (1989), etc.
