Was born in Irkutsk. From 1961 to 1966 he studied at the Irkutsk art school on a decorative branch from B. T. Bychkov, G. G. levy, M. D. Voron'ko, G. V. Antsiferov. Since 1966 worked as an artist in Irkutsk, creative and production workshops of the Artistic Fund of the RSFSR. A member of the artists Union of the USSR since 1975
