Biography and information

Candidate of architecture, engineer, graphic designer, participant of the great Patriotic war. In 1929 he graduated from the faculty of wood processing and metal Workshops. From 1939 to 1941 he worked in the construction of the Palace of Soviets. From 1943 to 1949 he worked in subway construction. From 1949 to 1956 in the architectural Studio of the Ministry of construction of the USSR. 1956-1984 he conducts scientific work in MNIITEP and GlavAPU of Moscow. The author of many theoretical works on the issues of artificial lighting and colors in the interior and urban environment.

Work in metro:

the lamps at the station "Taganskaya" (1950);

the lamps at the station "Oktyabrskaya" (1950, jointly. with Leonid Polyakov);

standard lamps for outbuildings of a number of stations of the Moscow metro.
