The son of a provincial Registrar. January 9, 1819, admitted to the Academy of fine Arts. Received medals: in 1825 - 2 silver; in 1827 to 1 silver; in 1830 - 2 gold for the program "the Savior, inquiring of the scribes and Pharisees if it is appropriate to give tribute to Caesar" and a diploma of 1 degree with the sword; left at the Academy for improvement.
