Biography and information
Igor Baranov - painter, graphic artist. Born in 1983 in Leningrad. In 2001 he graduated from the Art Lyceum. B.V. Johanson. Graduate of the graphic faculty of the St. Petersburg State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I. E. Repin at the Academy of Fine Arts (2007). Since 2009, he has been teaching painting, drawing and composition at the branch of the Institute. I.E. Repina in Kotka (Finland).
Member of more than 50 exhibitions in Russia and abroad, including 18 personal ones. The author’s works are stored in the collections of the State Hermitage Museum (St. Petersburg), the House of Graphics by D. A. Rovinsky (Moscow), the Museum of Russian Painting in Harbin (China) and in private collections in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Germany, the USA, and South Korea.
