Biography and information

Born in Nevyansk, Sverdlovsk region, in the Latvian family servants. In 1935 together with his family moved to Sverdlovsk. In 1946 he graduated from high school.

In September 1950, he entered the Ural College of applied arts in Nizhny Tagil, graduated in July 1954 in the specialty "Sculptor-designer". Submitted thesis - bas "For Soviet power (head of the M. P. Kramskoy).

From August 1954 to February 1956 he worked in the Sverdlovsk Opera and ballet theatre prop maker-sculptor.

Began participating in exhibitions since 1957 Among his works: "1917 year" (relief, 1957), portraits of Hero of the Soviet Union A. Matrosov (1959), Hero of Socialist Labor F. Petukhov (1959), Marshal V. K. Blucher (1960).

The author of the Monument to the heroes of the Civil (1918-1922) and the great Patriotic war (1941-1945) wars in the city of Pervouralsk, Sverdlovsk region (concrete, 1964-1965).
