He graduated from the Leningrad art school(?) With the end of the 1920s in exile. In 1932 - 1935 he was in the company Bronislava nijinska, and then at the Opera of Monte-Carlo and the company "Original Balle Russe". From 1941 he lived in the United States. In 1949 he opened his ballet school in new York. From 1956 to 1962 he worked at the school "tietr" (new York). The author of the memoirs "the Greyhound". Died in new York.
