Born in D. Opechenskiy Row of Borovichsky uyezd into a peasant family. Graduates of the school of technical drawing of Baron A. L. Stieglitz. After graduation he interned in France and in Italy. The artist's works (portraits, landscapes) are available in the Samara art gallery, the Novgorod State Museum-reserve. Excellent watercolor portraits (his father, mother, wife, sisters, nieces, etc.), landscapes ("Miluska", "Opechenskiy Row", etc.) are kept in the art Fund Borovichi Museum.
