Born in the village Sala Krasnoyarsk region. From 1938 to 1941 he studied at the Krasnoyarsk art school in A. I. Marina, N. D.Ball and G. A. Avetisyan, from 1950 to 1952 - in the Lviv school. D., R. A. Silvestrov, V. A. Monastyrsky, A. V. Lyubchik and R. J. SEL. Since 1960 he taught at the Lviv school. I. Trush. From 1963 he taught at the Irkutsk art College. Among his pupils - A.
