Medallist Of St. Petersburg. mint, 1882 class artist 1-th degree; b. in 1849, into a Jewish family; a graduate of the medal branch of the Academy of arts, which was repeatedly awarded by medals (for the figure of "Germanicus", the head of Achilles, etc.). His known works: the reverse of the medal in memory of Alexander II, medal in memory of the 50th anniversary of the society of Russian doctors etc.

Medallist and stonecutter. A native of Vilna, the son of artist-medalist A. G. Griliches. He passed a full course of study at the Imperial Academy of arts (1869-1876) in the class of academician V. V. Alekseev and received the title of artist 3rd degree. Even before graduating, in April 1873 he became a civilian employee of PMD (was in charge of the manufacture of stamping dies for copper coins), and at the end of training – supernumerary medallist. For the jubilee medal of the Institute of Technology was awarded the title of class artist of the 2nd-degree and became a full-time medallist PMD (1879). Received the title of class artist 1-th degree (1889) and the order of St. Anne 3rd degree medal "In memory of the rescue of the Royal family during a train derailment at the station of Borki in 1888." The portrait of G. O. Gunzburg, full on rock crystal was awarded a gold medal WHPV in Paris (1889). Senior medalist PMD (1899), senior medallist highest salary (1905).
