He graduated from TSUTR Baron Stieglitz with the title academic painter (1888), taught drawing and ink wash there (Sept. 1893 - may 1894), Director of RM and BRU in Saratov (1894-1906), lecturer BRU (1897-1906), then Director of the art-industrial school in Yekaterinburg. In the last years of his life were related to art school in Pavlovsk.
