Student of the Academy of arts from 1880 To 1884 he graduated from the course Sciences. Received medals: in 1883 a small incentive; in 1884 – 2 silver; in 1885, 1 silver and 2 gold for the program: "the Draft Grand-Ducal Palace in the capital." In 1886 – the title of class artist of 1 degree.
