In 1907-09 he studied at the hood. the Academy R. Julien in Paris, he visited the Studio of Auguste Rodin. In 1914 he returned to Moscow. Since 1921 in exile, he lived and worked in Paris. Sculpture, sculptural portraits – "Refugee" (1912), "L. Tolstoy (the Thinker)" (1913), "Head of Christ" (1914), "M. Saryan" (1927), "Serge Lifar" (1927), "Youth or Flesh" (1933), "the Caryatids" (1935) and other works.
