Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Honored artist of the RSFSR. He created a number of sculptural portraits: the pilot V. P. Chkalov, pilot-cosmonaut L. S. Demin, a biophysicist A. L. Chizhevsky, academician S. N. Fedorova, poet E. A. Boratynsky and many others. Together with sculptor S. E. Lebedev and architect A. S. Kulikov has created a memorial "Eternal fire". He is the author of the monument "Motherland" on the vozdvizhenskoye cemetery in Tambov, monument to S. V. Rakhmaninov in Ivanovka uvarovskiy district and the G. R. Derzhavin Tambov. Since 1955 he lived and worked in Tambov.
