Valentin
Ulyanovich Eden

Born January 3, 1939 in the village igumnovsky Tarnogsky district, Vologda region. She studied at the Yaroslavl art school (1956 - 1961). Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1975.

Participates in art exhibitions since 1969. The artist's works are exhibited at the interregional, regional, international exhibitions. Solo graphics exhibition held in Vologda (1974, 1986), Sroda-Slaska (Poland) (1974).

Lives and works in Vologda since 1954. The artist's works are in the Museum-reserves and museums of local lore of the Vologda region, private collections in Russia and abroad. The main collection of the artist's work is in the Vologda regional picture gallery.

The artist works in graphics in the technique of drawing with ink, pencil, pastel (landscape, genre, historical and household composition), is engaged in the engraving technique of woodcut, linocut, etching (engraving easel painting in the genres of landscape and household composition, book mark). Major works: book of signs (1968-1975), the series of paintings "Volga-Balt"/1975/, the series of drawings "Vologda village" (1977 - 1978), a series of drawings "In Hungary" (1983), a series of drawings "North village (1984), a series of drawings "the Last horse" (1985).
