D. was born in Siberia Mezenskogo district of Kirov region. He graduated from the chemical faculty of the Pskov GUI (1938), worked as a teacher of science and chemistry in Serpeisk Smolensk region. The participant of the great Patriotic war, defense of Leningrad, he was in captivity. Upon release, he worked at a Moscow military plants. Awarded the order of Patriotic war, medals "For military merit", "Veteran of labour", etc. trainees lectures on logic, aesthetics and art history at Moscow state University (1948). Lives and works in Chelyabinsk (1948), where he began to learn the art of sculpture. He took lessons from the sculptor A. V. Kikin, has evolved independently. The master of easel and monumental sculpture. A member of the artists Union of the USSR (1951), he was elected a member of the Board of COCH (1968). Participant of exhibitions (since 1949), two personal in Chelyabinsk (1973, CHOKH and 1994, VZ, JOSH). The author of monumental works – monuments to V. I. Lenin (the state farm "Russia" in Chelyabinsk region.), Karl Marx (Minsk), Z. Kosmodemyanskoy (Kopeysk). Performed a series of children's portraits, including "pioneer Serezha" (marble, 1957), "Sasha" (marble, 1964), "Lenin in childhood" (GIPS, 1972); portraits of writers and artists – "M. Y. Lermontov" (marble, 1968), "Yesenin" (marble, 1973), "the Artist V. Neyasov" (cast, 1983), "the Poet B. A. Brooks" (cast, 1984), "A. S. Pushkin" (marble, 1986); portraits of revolutionaries – "S. M. Zwilling" (1949), "S. A. the Curve" (1949), "D. V., Kolyshenko" (1967) and others Of its author's works in Kasli art castings were copied in cast iron podcasti "Clown clock" (1957) and "Motherhood" (1959).
