The son of provincial Secretary. In 1800 defined in the Academy of fine Arts. Received 1811 2 gold medal for "the View of Nevsky prospect with part of Gostiny Dvor and the city Duma." In 1812 issued with a certificate of 1 degree. (Kondakov)
