Biography and information

Was born in Moscow. From 1944 to 1949 he studied at the theatrical-decorative Department of the Moscow art College of memory in 1905, V. A. Shestakov, from 1952 to 1957 at the Leningrad art-industrial College after V. I. Mukhina at the Department of artistic treatment of the glass at B. A. Smirnov. From 1958 to 1962 he worked on the Gusev crystal factory in the town of Gus-Crystal Vladimir region. From 1962 he lived and worked in Irkutsk. From 1962 to 1972 he taught at the Irkutsk College of arts in ceramic arts and design Department, among his students - L. N. Nazarov and S. P. Nazarov, N. E.Zhitkov, A. P. Ivanov. A member of the CPSU from 1955 a Member of the artists Union of the USSR since 1964 From 1975 to 1977 Chairman of the Board of IOSH of the RSFSR. 1983 - honored. artist of the RSFSR.
