Born in the village Sakobo the Georgian SSR. Graduated from Tbilisi school of art (1953-1958) and the Tbilisi Academy of arts (1958-1964). Works mainly in the field of decorative-applied art, as well as in easel painting.
Member of the Union of artists of Russia from 1973. Since 1964 - member of art exhibitions. Exhibitor of zonal ("Great Volga", 1970, 1974, 1985, 1998, 2003), Republican (1974, 1975, 1979, 1980 ), Union (1972) art exhibitions. Solo exhibition: N. Novgorod, 1998.
