Born in Gorky. Graduated, finished the art school (1947-1952) and the State art Institute of the Estonian SSR (1959-1965). Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1970. 1965 - the constant participant of regional exhibitions. Exhibitor of zonal ("Great Volga", 1970, 1974, 1980, 1985, 1991, 2003), Republican (1985, 1986, 1987), all-Russian and all-Union (1965, 1977, 1984) art exhibitions.

Solo exhibitions: Bitter-N.Novgorod(1978, 1986, 1988, 1990, 1993, 1994, 2003), Arzamas (1995), St. Petersburg (1995), Moscow (1992). He taught at the Gorky art school (1965-1969).
