Student of the Academy of Arts from 1850 to 1870 have Received medals: in 1857 - 2 silver; in 1859 - 1 silver; in 1861 - 2 silver; in 1862 - 1 silver; in 1870 - gold for the expression in the film "Confession". In 1865 - the title of class artist of 2 degrees; in 1870 - the title of class artist of 1 degree. In view of the failure of the conditions to pass the research exam, the certificate for the first title was issued in 1883, with the release, the decision of the academic Council, on scientific examination, and on the last page, in 1885, presented the painting "Boys fishing".
